Building your excursion calendar with Green Collect's Community and Education Programs. We cover a variety of curriculum objectives, including social justice, environmental sustainability and social enterprise.  

Green Collect's education programs are interactive and hands-on, encouraging students to participate in testing and teardown activities that demonstrate how upcycling and recycling are performed as part of our daily operations. 

Green Collect has diverted over 10 million items from landfill and counting! In the past year alone, we have kept 300,000 kilos of goods in the circular economy and your students have a chance to contribute to this impact. 

The Victorian Department of Education recently engaged Green Collect to develop Circular Economy learning resources that reflect best-practice knowledge and responses to waste and resource lifecycles. Green Collect's programs are suitable for schools of all sizes and can be tailored for high school or tertiary students.

What happens on the day

    We start with a guided tour of our Braybrook facility, where students see how discarded office items are transformed through re-use, upcycling and recycling.

    Tear down resources, test recovery techniques and explore strategies for how to make more sustainable choices.
